The The band is one of Scotland's oldest, having been around for over 110 years. We meet to rehearse every Thursday evening at our Lochee Park Bandroom between 7.30pm and 9.30pm.

As a community band, membership is open to everyone - all we ask for is a desire to play a brass instrument and the will to practise! Our current members cover a wide range of backgrounds and ages - the youngest is thirteen while the oldest is eighty two.

We are a traditional, self financing brass band. The band performs in and around Dundee regularly at a wide variety of events such as fund raising concerts, local galas, church services etc. In addition to this we also travel the length and breadth of the country competing in local and national contests.
